Let’s make sure you have
the tools to make it
Welcome
Hi there, I’m Penni.
I’m so glad you’re here.
If you’ve come because you’re looking for an easier way out of the overwhelm, or you’re just trying to feel better, I want you to know: You’re not broken, and you’re not alone.
Most of us were never taught the skills and tools to create our own mental well-being. We’ve just relied on our default modes to get by, often becoming more dependent on our self-destructive tendencies. (Think: Perfectionism, people-pleasing, numbing our emotions.) We’ve ended up stressed, anxious, and exhausted. I know, because I’ve been there. It doesn’t have to feel this way.
This is not about papering over reality with positive affirmations. This is about recalibrating your mindset to truly serve you in moving toward your desired results, your purpose, and your dreams.
If you’re ready to develop the skills to change your worn-out patterns and fully show up for whatever life brings, you’re in the right place.
About Coaching
Coaching: Strength Training for your Brain
I have a Master’s degree in Social Work and was a clinical counselor for fifteen years, and while I bring that knowledge base and experience to my work here, the service I provide is Coaching.
Coaching is a process that shifts our habitual patterns of thinking, the single most powerful predictors of our results, our effectiveness, and our quality of life.
Coaching functions as a mirror, reflecting back to you the workings of your internal operating system — your brain.
Coaching is a powerful fast track to change: an instrumental lens through which you see the mental, emotional and behavioral patterns keeping you stuck. (You can’t see these patterns — you are too close to them.)
Coaching creates a space of heightened awareness where you are empowered to find your choices.
Here, you find your way to a new relationship with yourself:
one that is more honest, more brave, full of both tough love and self-compassion. You find the energy needed to move out of reactive mode and into creativity. You find your power to affect the things you can control, rather than living at the effect of all you can’t control.
In short, your mind gets stronger.
Before you commit to coaching, consider:
Like physical strength training, coaching requires you do the work.
Are you ready?
- Ready to face the facts of where you hold yourself back?
- Ready to work through some hard stuff before you feel better? (Owning up to your own BS, and processing neglected emotions — it’s not for the faint of heart.)
- Ready to let go of the deeply-embedded scripts about yourself and the world around you?
- Ready to not only learn – but integrate what you’ve learned – so you can transform and create lasting change?
“Penni was a tremendous help to me just at the right time in my life. I had been dealing with some longstanding anxiety from personal trauma. I felt that this was in a good place however increased stressors from work in the healthcare field really snuck up on me, knocking me back into place of self doubt, anxiety, depression, and insomnia. To be honest, I felt like a shell, barely getting by day to day. It impacted my family as well, and I knew I needed to do something. I connected with Penni, and I have to say, she was amazing. She gave me tools to help me move forward. I found having a concrete action plan the perfect fit to help me move forward in my healing. I can’t thank Penni enough for the assistance, and the compassion she shared with me during a difficult time.”

”I felt comfortable with Penni right from the start. Over the past year she has helped me transition to my retirement life as well as deal with pandemic anxiety. Penni is genuinely interested and curious and a very skilled active listener. I especially appreciate her thought provoking questions that help get me to the next level of self-awareness.”
—Chris, Adventurer and Retired Project Manager
"As a mom struggling with the weight of worry about all of my kids and a woman in leadership struggling with burnout and trying to answer the question, "What next?" -- I reached out to Penni for help. She led with empathy and compassion, creating a safe space to reframe thinking and identify limiting beliefs. She connected me to tools to help me and to support my kids. I highly recommend Penni if you are stuck and trying to create that next chapter!"
— B., Leader
"My job requires juggling multiple priorities and navigating complex human dynamics, the stress of which has left me feeling almost paralyzed at times. Penni’s calm, gentle and open style gave me the space to explore the challenges in a non judgmental setting. Through her remarkable intuition, her unique ability to distill information and the coaching framework she employed, she got right to the heart of the issues and led me to “aha” insight into how I can remain more grounded and present at work."
